Will it fit? Check the numbers, not your gut

I built this because I wanted to know whether furniture would fit before buying it. Square meters tell you how big a room is. They don't tell you how many centimeters you'll have between the bed and the desk.

Put in the room size, drag the furniture around, and you see straight away what collides and whether there's still a way from the door to the back of the room. The layout notes are the ones that surprised me while I was trying things out in the tool.

It's a one-person project. If a calculation looks wrong or something is awkward to use, email woleogi@gmail.com and I'll fix it.

Who makes it

Every drawing in the layout notes comes straight out of this site's planner. When someone reports a wrong number, I reopen the same coordinates in the planner, check, and fix it. The notes stick to what can be checked by calculation; installation methods and safety calls belong to people on site, so I stay away from those. Room Lab isn't run by an architecture firm or an interior design company.
