Terms of use

Article 1. Purpose and operator

These terms govern the free Room Lab furniture planner and layout notes. Operator: 호두 (Hodu). Contact: woleogi@gmail.com.

Article 2. Publication and changes

These terms are available in the site footer. Changes must comply with applicable law. We normally announce the reason, changes and effective date at least seven days in advance, or thirty days for material or unfavorable changes, with individual notice where possible. Legally required immediate changes will be explained. You may stop using the service and contact us if you disagree. Silence or continued visits do not replace consent required by law; separate consent will be obtained where necessary.

Article 3. Service and availability

No account is required. Room dimensions, furniture placement, area/overlap/route calculations, PNG export, layout links and layout notes are free. Room Lab does not sell furniture, process purchases or arrange construction. Any future paid service will have separate prices, conditions and consent. Features, calculations and browser support may change with prior notice of significant effects. Maintenance, outages or security incidents may interrupt service; urgent interruptions may be explained afterward.

Article 4. User duties and restrictions

Respect applicable law and others’ rights. Malware, service disruption, excessive automated requests, unauthorized access, privacy/copyright infringement and illegal use are prohibited. Restrictions must be proportionate; reasons and an appeal route are provided unless an urgent security issue prevents prior notice. You may seek review by email. Lawful use and legitimate exercise of rights are preserved.

Article 5. Calculation limits

Results are references based on your input and a simplified 2D model. They do not account for every real door, window, pipe, furniture height or drawer clearance. The 60 cm route and 80 cm doorway are model assumptions and do not certify building, fire or accessibility compliance. Article 6. Storage and sharing

Layouts are stored in your browser and may be lost when you change devices, clear site data or your browser removes storage. Keep needed PNGs or links separately. A shared URL contains the layout and anyone with it can open the same plan. Do not include others’ personal or confidential information. The operator does not claim ownership of your layouts. You are responsible for obtaining third-party rights needed for your exported/shared material.

Article 7. Intellectual property

Site text, diagrams, design and software belong to the operator or their lawful owners. You may use your own layouts and exports personally or for work. Do not resell unauthorized copies of site content/software or impersonate its owner. Statutory quotation rights and separate open-source/font licenses remain available.

Article 8. Providers, ads and privacy

Room Lab uses Cloudflare Pages for hosting, Google Analytics for visit statistics and Google AdSense for advertising. Ads and external links do not imply endorsement. External transactions and services are subject to those providers’ terms. See the Privacy policy for processing, cookies, providers, transfers and opt-outs. These terms do not replace consent to optional processing or international transfers.

Article 9. Liability

Each party is responsible under applicable law for damage attributable to that party. Events reasonably beyond control may limit liability only to the extent permitted by law. Nothing excludes or limits liability for the operator’s intentional misconduct or gross negligence, privacy obligations, or rights that cannot legally be waived. Providing a free service does not excuse all operator liability.

Article 10. Ending use, law and disputes

You may stop using the service and clear browser data at any time. Send complaints to woleogi@gmail.com; the operator will investigate and reply. Statutory mediation and remedies remain available. These terms are interpreted under Republic of Korea law; jurisdiction follows applicable civil procedure law. Mandatory user protections remain applicable. If a provision is invalid, the rest remain effective to the extent permitted by law. Effective November 6, 2026.
